This microfiber (MF) cover, which looks a lot like leather, fits the Seven Seas Wirter and Standard notebooks perfectly. If you find the Gfeller cover to be overkill, while the Cheap Notebook Cover is the opposite, this one might fit right in between, in terms of both performance and price.
And, this cover comes with a bookmark, which will come in handy because neither Seven Seas notebooks has one.
In comes in brown and dark brown and is made of soft lightweight microfiber. It will fit any A5-size notebook where the cover measures true A5 (148x210) and the book is not more than 15mm thick.

The cover provides the seven seas journal with an even classier look. The photographs at the site are a very accurate depiction. I am glad I purchased it.

After using it for a few hours only I find it's a great cover it looks like it will be very durable, and will travel well it only needs some breaking in because it can get stiff while it's new and I have to put a heavy object on top of it to get it to close all the way I use it with the standard blank notebook, it would be nice if it were a tad bigger and had some extra slots added in for storage, but other than that I am very happy with it

This faux leather cover looks and feels much better than many real leather covers I have seen. It perfectly fits the Seven Seas journal. The ribbon bookmark is a nice feature. Excellent value for money.

I got this cover because both leather covers were out of stock. It is very good so good that I bought another one with my next order.

I would like to preface my review by saying that I did not buy the cover from Nanami Paper, as I wanted a cover in a different color that Nanami does not carry. However, the product is exactly the same and it fits perfectly on my Seven Seas Standard. The cover is not real leather and is slightly "plastic-ier" looking, though it does imitate the textural appearance very well. Obviously, it will not age or show signs of its use like real leather, though that's great I suppose if you're not a fan of the "worn-in" appearance.
There is a ribbon bookmark attached to the cover, though I don't get much use out of it. I use the blotter sheet and that ends up working just fine, so it kind of just dangles there by itself. It's there if you need it, though!
I love that it is a little soft so that the Standard will still curl up around objects if it needs to, like when you throw the notebook into your bookbag. All in all I think it's a great, cheaper alternative to the more expensive real leather products.

Before I had the cheap notebook cover for $2,50.
This one is good, it is nice, it fits perfectly, it wan't get lost, if you open the journal. The stitches look pretty good. It is perfectly for those people who say "I don't pay more for a cover, than for the notebook."
But, it is not real leather. Next time I will order the Gfeller leather. I love it in the office to use hight quality products. I use Pelikan, Lamy and Montblanc fountain pens. So for my personal pleasure feelings, the cover is slightly to much plastic looking. Next time I will go for leather.
I don't know, if it is fair to give only 4 stars. I have nothing bad to say about this cover. It is just, there there is something else, which is better.

I am very impressed by the cover. It is solid, handsome, and fits the Nanami notebooks perfectly. I will buy another since I have ongoing notebooks for different tasks.

I just received this cover with a Seven Seas Writer journal and I'm impressed with the quality. It does a very good impression of being a dark brown leather cover, although you don't get the natural texture variation of course. It seems to be well made and at this reasonable price is an excellent option to dress up an A5 notebook!

Just received this, great cover. I'm tempted to get the Gfeller cover, too, because it will wear better and last longer, but honestly, this looks great at nearly a tenth of the price as Gfeller in skirting leather. Kudos to Dave for making a less expensive, attractive option available. One caveat, a little floppy, but doesn't bother me at all.
