If you're a fan of our Blanzy-Poure 2552 nib, but are looking for something a bit "tighter", this BP Henry Superieure 605 may work...it's good for writing smaller and has a less "springy" quality than the 2552, meaning that with the same pressure but same action, you might find yourself writing smaller....without the same range of flex, the nib's power won't propel it across the page as far...hard to explain.
Put a little more subjectively, this 605 feels a bit more constrained than the 2552.

This is a great nib for all around writing, especially if one writes with a fine hand. Limited line variation compared to the 2552, but a great solid feeling to the script. The nib carries the ink well, and distributes it evenly without skipping or stuttering. As advertised, not a calligraphy nib, but a great all around writer.

I was very happy with this nib from the first time I wrote with it. Beautiful thick and thin lines.. I think I found a new favorite. I love writing with hunt 101, Gillott 404, zebra G, hunt 56and now this. Highly recommend.
