This 4th Edition of the Cafe A6 notebook. It is bound with the Sanzen Tomoe River paper as of 2025 October 1.

A POCKET NOTEBOOK THAT PACKS A PUNCH

 

After many requests to chop our A5 notebooks down to a smaller size, we finally decided it was time to make our own original A6 notebook.

Performance and paper are the same as our B6-S: 384 pages, white TRP, lay-flat construction, 3.7mm grid.

We hope you like this new notebook - and actually, after working with various larger notebooks over the years, such as our Seven Seas A5, L!FE B5, Tsubame, and even our own Cafe B6, my first thought when I opened the shipment was "Awww...how cute!!!". But since this is a serious tool, it's cute in a way that, say, laser watches, explosive pens, and miniature tape recorders are cute. In fact, if James Bond carried a notebook, this is probably the one he would find most useful.

    This is the third A6 notebook I have purchased. I love love love it and it is the only Tomoe River paper notebook I have found with 480 pages. To be honest, I would REALLY love about 20 - 30 more pages for what I use it for but, otherwise, it is perfect.

    The Cafe Note Notebook is a great little notebook. I love that it has over 400 pages. I laminated the little pink sheet and added some stickers and turned it into a dashboard/pagemarker. I plan to use it for a planner/journal.

    I almost exclusively used A5 notebooks, and I wanted something smaller to carry with me in my purse. This notebook is perfect. The Crossfield (2nd edition) is my favorite notebook I've ever used, and this notebook is a cuter, smaller, and more convenient version of it. It's absolutely great for all the writing I need to do, and it's so durable. My purse destroys everything I put in it eventually, but this notebook should last a while. Honestly, I love this paper, I love the light grid, I love the size, and I think it's perfect. I may order more very soon.

    I’m already using this every day. I would love to see a blank version in the future for drawings! The grid is great but it’s a but strong for illustrations.

    I just love this A6 notebook and it is a strong contender to the Hobonichi Techo A6, in my opinion. The paper is very similar, a little whiter than the hobo, but very pleasant on the eye still, no harsh white at all. The grid size is identical to the hobo, as far as I can tell

    Cafe Note A6 - Grid - This is actually the second A6 Café Note that I have purchased. I love the paper, love the fact that are so many pages and also the fact it is undated and can be used for so many things.

    I basically wanted a notebook version of my Hobonichi Techo and this is perfection. A6, a tiny bit thicker, same great paper, grid is almost identical (without the date bits of course). I love it.
