A POCKET NOTEBOOK THAT PACKS A PUNCH
After many requests to chop our A5 notebooks down to a smaller size, we finally decided it was time to make our own original A6 notebook.
Performance and paper are the same as our B6-S: 384 pages, white TRP, lay-flat construction, 3.7mm grid.
We hope you like this new notebook - and actually, after working with various larger notebooks over the years, such as our Seven Seas A5, L!FE B5, Tsubame, and even our own Cafe B6, my first thought when I opened the shipment was "Awww...how cute!!!". But since this is a serious tool, it's cute in a way that, say, laser watches, explosive pens, and miniature tape recorders are cute. In fact, if James Bond carried a notebook, this is probably the one he would find most useful.

I purchased this on impulse because the added shipping was negligible on my order of two Seven Seas Writers, and because I joined the Hobonichi tsunami with an A6 Original. Am I glad! This is a fabulous companion to my Hobonichi, and a fine notebook on its own. Not even the A5 Cousin would have been enough for the additional notes I write on most days, not to mention lists, sporadic journaling, and writing on the go. This little lovely does it all. I'm delighted!

I wanted an undated journal in A6 size and after a short time with another A6 notebook, I went ahead and ordered this because it seemed like a better fit for my needs: it takes fountain pen ink and my random water color so well splotches and the paper is so amazingly thin and smooth.

And can't say how pleased I am!
Just sitting in appreciation of a beautiful, well-made object. It's so very lovely. The grids are perfectly subtle, and I like the miniature size, which surprised me at first. Adorable and worth every penny!
Now the problem is to actually get myself to start writing in it... but I anticipated the problem and have a Studionote on the way, too.
Two will make it easier, right? (I don't know, so I'm now eyeing the slim b6 version.... three, three sounds better.)
Oh no. This is turning into something. My first Seven Seas purchase and I'm hooked.

I journal alot and as it was time to start looking for a new journal I've tried others, travelers notebooks, random dot grid notebooks, none really appealed to me and I ended up not finishing them and then I found this and I'm completely obsessed, I've fallen in love with this book, this size, this paper and i write everyday again and I know itll take a while because theres so many pages but I cant wait to see how my life progresses in it, and fill the pages with all the memories ! Amazing quality. Care in the packaging, and fast shipping. I love it! Thank you!

The Cafe Note is the most perfect notebook I've ever own. When I gaze upon it, a choir of angels suddenly appear and sing major chords as a beam of light falls upon it from Heaven.
I would reiterate all the other reviewers here, but especially Jam from 12/2018 who request that the notebook be made in other sizes.
All of this PLUS superb customer service. Thank you, Nanami Paper!

I really like this paper. Its so smooth to write on.
But if you put watercolour on it first i love it even more.
This is my first experience eith this type of paper so i have nothing to compare it too. I bought more of these even though i have to pay a lot more in postage. If you like notebooks you will like these.

I keep my traditional written journal in the Seven Seas Standard Journal and love the Tomoe River Paper for using my fountain pens.
This little A6 Cafe Notebook is just what I was looking for to keep lists and notes in. It has my favorite Tomoe River paper. It is a portable size and because of the TR paper it is very lightweight.... yet has a lot of pages.
Perfect !!!

I had seen so many people using this and after watching a YouTube video I had to get one and I’m so pleased I did. The paper quality is amazing, the notebooks quality is superb, I wish I had ordered more, I would highly recommend this.

Okay, so this is a brilliant little notebook. Love it. 5 stars. Just so well done, bravo!
However, I am asking for Dave to please consider a v2 version of the B6 slim grid with this exact same full page grid design (no extra "boxes" on the B6 slim!), and keep the same 384 page count on the B6 slim! That would be incredible too. Also, Dave, please consider making a 1/2 thickness of the A5 Studio Note with 240 pages! That would also be fantastic!
Anyway, this little A6 grid is currently my favorite notebook, surpassing the current B6 slim (v1), just incredible. It's basically a Hobonichi without all the extra "stuff" that gets in the way. Brilliant.
Thanks, Dave! Hope you make this version for many years! (And please do the other ones!!!) :-)
