This Mini Clip is specially designed to hold 5 or fewer sheets of paper, so, like the Super Clip I also carry, I thought it would make a good bookmark for journals.

It's only 1mm thick, while the Super Clip is about 3mm thick, so if you use a lot of bookmarks this one may work for you.

Note that it is surprisingly strong and takes some effort to slide over the edge of a page - even just 1 page. Push on it too hard, and it's possible that the page may tear, or in the case of Tomoe River paper, it may not go on at all.

But all is not lost! There is a way to adjust clip's strength: Start by sliding it onto a stack of 5 sheets of ordinary copy paper, then remove it and test it on your journal. If it's still too tight, increase the stack to 6 sheets and try again. I don't recommend going beyond 8 sheets though - there's no way to make a loose clip tight again.

You should end up with is a clip that slides on with just the right amount of effort, and it will help you to never lose your place again.

    I used to use colored tabs to mark sections of notes, but using these clips looks so much nicer and cleaner. These clips are curved and will make the pages bend slightly where it is placed, fyi. I like the arrow on the clip, it's a nice little touch. Highly recommended!

    Super nice clips. I like using them as page markers. They really hold on well so you do have to be careful if you want to remove them from thin paper. Love them!

    I bought these to compare to the super clip. I liked them just as much, but they do take a little caution when using on thin paper, but are perfect for single pages. They do not budge! I think these clips are going to be great for marking the current calendar pages in my hobonichi. I am glad I have found metal clips that are flush with the page. I like tabs in theory, but these are so much more streamlined and unobtrusive. I love them.
