This is just a basic cover for our A5-size Seven Seas or Studio Note journal. It's actually the replacement for our "cheap" notebook cover that we used to offer. It costs a bit more, but is also a higher-quality plastic than the old one.
Its a transparent vinyl that's about .03mm thick - about twice the thickness of the old "cheap" cover and very sturdy.
We especially like it because you can customize it with your own inserts, such as the example we show here with the colorful washi paper. However, the cover is quite tight-fitting (being custom made after all) so it's best not to use an insert that's thicker than, say, a sheet of notebook paper.
This is a great low-cost alternative to one of our leather covers.
Please note that reviews prior to May 6, 2022 were for the "frosted" cover.

Simple and Elegant

I've been dithering on a leather cover for my Writer for a while and chose to pick up a clear cover in the meantime to keep my notebook safe. Now I'm not positive if I want a leather cover at all! The clear cover fits perfectly and works well with the Nanami natural cover to produce a simple and elegant look. The cover is so slim it hardly adds any bulk to the notebook, yet I can tell it still offers protection, as well. It all feels great in the hand, and I'm very pleased with the quality for such an inexpensive option.

So glad the clear (non-frosted) covers are back again! Easy to clean and just as protective as leather, with less strain on the notebook binding. Solid cover, my old one lasted years and years before any kind of fraying at the edges appeared, and is still serviceable. These new ones look just as solid, if not more so. The fit is good but a little snug for the Nanami A5s. I can fit a decorative paper between the cover and notebook (no wraparound, just an insert sheet), and a couple reference sheets at the back of the notebook. Anything more and the snugness would pull the notebook cover up on one side. But it's enough space, and I prefer it snug rather than loose!

Always make original designs using this clear cover until get a leather or nice one cover

This cover permit create a custom made design, favorite pictures, or what ever considerate memorable; then later protect wear this clear cover. Normally I bought together with the journal until can buy a nice one cover: very durable and fit perfectly in any of the A5 notebooks. Very durable material. Really q very good invest to protect the nanami soft cover.

A Very Top Shelf Notebook Cover

These notebook covers fit properly.
The frost allows for still reading anything on the notebook cover.
These covers will protect your notebook while it is being used/pages filled and then used with a new notebook.
These covers are a really good idea for notebook users.

Solid cover

I haven't used this cover long but it's working well. The Seven Seas notebook I got had an attractive cover so I went with the frost to show it off a little without going overboard. It's a simple matte cover, easily slides over the A5 book. It even has a pen loop in the back! My platinum preppy fits snuggly. Good purchase to keep my notebook clean!
