A POCKET NOTEBOOK THAT PACKS A PUNCH
After many requests to chop our A5 notebooks down to a smaller size, we finally decided it was time to make our own original A6 notebook.
Performance and paper are the same as our B6-S: 384 pages, white TRP, lay-flat construction, 3.7mm grid.
We hope you like this new notebook - and actually, after working with various larger notebooks over the years, such as our Seven Seas A5, L!FE B5, Tsubame, and even our own Cafe B6, my first thought when I opened the shipment was "Awww...how cute!!!". But since this is a serious tool, it's cute in a way that, say, laser watches, explosive pens, and miniature tape recorders are cute. In fact, if James Bond carried a notebook, this is probably the one he would find most useful.

This notebook is wonderful. The Tomoe River paper and grids are exactly like the Hobonichi A6, but undated and open. I wanted something for me to chronicle my daughter's school years, and this is the perfect size and pages for me. Also fits well in my leather travelers notebooks -- I use the clear plastic cover also bought here and string the elastics through the cover instead of the book itself and it holds very nicely.

I think this is what I've been looking for!
A6 - Tomoe paper and lots of pages.
I've been using Hobo Techo's and Cousins for the last 3 years but you have to make a choice with them - journal or notes...adding the notebooks kind of defeats the object.
Now I've been able to utilise a leather Techo cover and have the ideal daily capture book! Looks smart too.

I'm extremely glad that these exist. I've been looking for a Tomoe River notebook with a grid to use with a Hobonichi A6 cover and this has been perfect. I've been using these as notebooks for college and there are so many pages, I've been able to use one notebook for three classes, even though I'm a pretty heavy notetaker.
The size is fantastic. So much more portable!

Thank you for another excellent product! These smaller notebooks that you’ve provided with Tomeo River paper, that are sewn binding, and soft covered, are my favorite journals. They are excellent with fountain pen ink. And also handle watercolors. I really love them!

My usual note book is the B6, this is the smaller sibling that doesn't feel that small. The usual great paper and amazing binding but can disappear in a pocket
Would like a lined version of this great notebook but you don't have to hurry, it will take me a couple of months to finish this one off.

I found Nanami Paper after becoming a fan of Tomoe River via the Hobonichi Techo. I use the big Seven Seas notebooks at work but I needed something for home/personal use that was smaller. This is a perfect sister to my HT! I use it for more informal/undated notes. Love the size of the grid, the cover, the simplicity of the pages, ability to use pencil, ink, whatever. I'm highly tempted to get another, write in the dates myself, and use it instead of the HT next year.

I love this smaller A6 size for a notebook, and it has my favorite Tomoe River paper! I love the removable cover it comes with too.

This is everything I've been looking for in a notebook since I tried out the hobonichi techo and just couldn't jive with the static setup. Please never stop making them.

I think my review didn't go through the first time so let me tell you something this is the best A6 notebook ever with perfect design, amount of pages and paper and very important 3.7mm lines. That is important for me as I write small. Amount of pages is very nice (50 or so more would be nice too :) since the paper is thin the thickness of notebook is not that much but this is perfect anyway). I really like this size instead of those weird 9 x 14 cm (archaic measure 3.5 x 5.5) which are too narrow for writing but are more like for writing a shopping list while A6 at 148 x 105mm is perfect size which can actually be use for anything you want even small sketching. I love the cream color cover also and it is very tough and plasticky. Would like to see at least one more different color cover so can use for different topics/subjects.
Man, this notebook was designed as if it was done for me as it has all the features that I would have included/designed. Fantastic!
