This Mini Clip is specially designed to hold 5 or fewer sheets of paper, so, like the Super Clip I also carry, I thought it would make a good bookmark for journals.

It's only 1mm thick, while the Super Clip is about 3mm thick, so if you use a lot of bookmarks this one may work for you.

Note that it is surprisingly strong and takes some effort to slide over the edge of a page - even just 1 page. Push on it too hard, and it's possible that the page may tear, or in the case of Tomoe River paper, it may not go on at all.

But all is not lost! There is a way to adjust clip's strength: Start by sliding it onto a stack of 5 sheets of ordinary copy paper, then remove it and test it on your journal. If it's still too tight, increase the stack to 6 sheets and try again. I don't recommend going beyond 8 sheets though - there's no way to make a loose clip tight again.

You should end up with is a clip that slides on with just the right amount of effort, and it will help you to never lose your place again.

    These are really strong clips! I am currently using one to mark my spot in my Crossfield. It's got a strong grip but it's very easy on the paper; I've moved it a couple times and have not noticed any warping of the pages.

    So, I ordered a couple of these thinking that they would maybe serve a purpose in my organization. Oh man, these little clips are awesome. They hold a few pages together so I can add small documents or receipts to a page in my notebook/journal. I have used them to mark every month in my calendar because they have such a minimalist profile, yet still allow you to easily see where they are. They take up to zero room and really are awesome.

    These clips are strong wee buggers that will not be dislodged. Unlike regular paper clips, they snuggle the page tight and flat and, unlike tab-types, they don’t extend above the page. Simple, effective...ingenious.

    These little paperclips are perfect for marking sections in my hobonichi techo and cookbooks. They don't hurt the pages at all.
