Our Tomoe River paper pads are finally back!!!
This is 100 sheets of WHITE Tomoe River (Tomoegawa brand) paper, printed with subtle 7mm lines, bound to a binder's board and protected by a fold-over red cover.
The paper is the 68 gsm version, which is thin, strong and resists ink bleed-through and feathering (great for fountain pens). At the same time, it is sheer and delicate and crackles softly, like the pages of a dictionary. It is smooth but not slick, quiet, and will keep up with fast writers. If there were beauty contests for writing paper, Tomoe River would surely be a finalist.
Note that because of its thinness, heavy writers may find that pen tips can leave impressions several pages deep. If this is a concern, I recommend not writing directly into the pad; instead, tear off the page or place a writing mat a couple of sheets down.
If you are concerned about "show through" of reverse-side writing on thin papers, please read this.
If you are concerned about long ink dry times, you might want to consider getting some blotter paper.

This is a very nice pad. Adorable color that match with everything. The pages are so smooth and permit my whole family pleasant easy using as a remind messages, shopping list, special notes, etc. it is a very versatile product for any desk, car, backpack, office or telephone area. This is a valuable item for the cheaper price. I will order more in the near future to keep as backup and to gift to my closer ones. The quality of the paper it is out of league and the pad looks beautifull & well made. Hopefully never this product turn out of the market. My full 5 stars as a review.

I was gifted my first Seven Seas Tomoe River Pad from another fountain pen user who thought I might like it too. I wa pleasantly surprised with this pad. The page thickness is thin, but has NO bleed through. It is marketed as 68 gsm which is better (for me) than the way too thin 52 gsm paper. I liked is so much that I ordered more to have it on hand. The price is a real bargain for this high quality product. Be aware that this a pad with top tear off sheets w/o any holes, so it best used for basic note taking and not journaling. Highly Recommend this fine product that I will order again and you should too!

I love these pads of paper, the sheets tear off easily and of course you get the excellent performance of Tomoe River paper. I use these to send letters to friends and family and it’s also the go to paper I use when writing a note to my wife. The matching envelopes are great as well.

These pads are really nice to write on.
The amount of paper and the cost is a really good ratio.
I find it nice to have some of these around to write with.
NOTE: I wish they would come as is but with dotted lines, 5mm.

Lovely fountain pen paper, shows the sheen and shading of inks like no other paper! Thank you for this format, lovely for letters!

Very happy with the note pad. Used other popular brand for my every day , however, missed the smoothness and how the ink looks more alive on Tomoe River. Tried a 52gsm Tomoe note pad but found that when scanned for Evernote the ghosting could be distracting, depending on the ink. With the 68gsm, I get the best of both. Very little ghosting and a smooth pleasing writing with some shading and popping color inks. Just wish that they could put lines on both sides of the paper. Do enjoy the note pad more than the other brand I used, starts with an R!

I really like this Tomoe River paper that it is a little heavier, the quality is extraordinary, the ink on my very wet pens does not bleed out at all. Highly recommendable
